The Experience
This Valkyrie Backpacker Experience invites you into one of Nova Scotia’s last pristine, unroaded landscapes for an immersive overnight journey through wild shoreline terrain. The route weaves through protected bays and coves alive with coastal habitats and wildlife, with a short tidal crossing. The journey concludes at two stunning white sand beaches, where ocean views and open horizon create a powerful sense of arrival. Blending guided hiking, wilderness tent camping, and dramatic seaside scenery, this Valkyrie Backpacker experience is rooted in immersion, natural solitude, and meaningful connection to the coastal environment. Throughout the journey, we practice and uphold Leave No Trace principles, ensuring that our presence protects and preserves the fragile ecosystems that make this landscape so extraordinary.
