Into the Canyon : A Forest Journey

Follow the water inland. Step between stone and forest

A grounded adventure through canyon walls and cascading falls. Move through forested trail, stand beneath falling water, and share steady progress with a small, intentional group.

This journey builds endurance, strengthens connection, and invites you deeper into Nova Scotia’s most striking inland terrain.

Location: Spencer Island

This two day wilderness experience pairs one of Nova Scotia’s most iconic provincial parks with a guided exploration of a dramatic waterfall slot canyon, anchored by a distinctive beachfront overnight stay.

Day one features a Valkyrie Hiker Experience <REPLACE THIS INFORMATION>

Following the hike, the group settles into rustic wooden beach tents provided by Local Guy Adventures, set directly along the Bay of Fundy shoreline. With twin mattresses, beachside campfire pits, and nearby hot showers and facilities, the setting balances comfort with immersion, offering sunset views and the sound of the ocean overnight. Paddleboard rentals are also available on site for an additional fee of $25 per hour.

Day two shifts into a guided hike to George Fraser Brook Waterfall within the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark. This approximately 4 km trek leads through old growth forest into a striking slot canyon framed by towering rock walls and cascading falls, offering a dramatic contrast to the coastal terrain of day one.

Together, this itinerary delivers a cohesive blend of coastal wilderness, forested backcountry, and guided geological exploration in a thoughtfully curated two day experience.
